Having worked in conjunction with The University of Bath for
many years designing marketing material, Lunatrix were approached
to put a logo in place for the University's business development
unit to make it stand up as an organisation in its own right.
The logo would be used on a range of surface media and signage
most importantly on the large blank wall outside the Carpenter
House building. During the brief topics that came up were
of a brushed steel effect that could be backlit. After some
development Lunatrix hit upon the idea of mounting a large
square translucent light box to the wall with the logo embossed
on top. When lit up at night the resulting illumination central
to the idea of innovation really stands out from some distance.
the logo is also used as frosted glass through out the glass
walled open plan office complex.
