Alide
Hire Services - Tool Hire Catalogue Design
Lunatrix have produced an annual tool hire catalogue for Alide
Hire Services (Formerly Alide Tool Hire) for many years. Previously
we had designed a landscape A5 perfect bound booklet that
largely contained just images of the tools a very brief description
and the weekly hire cost. For the 2008-9 catalogue, the company
had an expanded range of hire services that they wanted to
promote including event hire, portaloos and storage containers.
They also wanted to include much more technical information
about the individual tools. For this reason it was decided
to produce a larger square format catalogue design, giving
more space for products which we designed on a 2 column grid
and utilised icons to reduce information specs down to a consistant
form. Overall the new catalogue design was received very well
and fortunately next year the layout design will be a much
easier updating process. |
